Applied Micro Technology is known mainly for producing a wide range of products based on the STD bus, which is used mainly for industrial control applications. In fact, the company produced or sold every component needed to build a complete STD-based microcomputer. If you preferred a ready-made system, Applied Micro Technology offered a line of fully functional micros that featured a Z80 CPU, CP/M, and the STD bus.
