Some sources indicate that the Versatile 2 had an Intel 8080 CPU. Company founder Robert Boyer adds this information:

“July 2, 2011 at 12:03 am:  Wow, This was my company started by me in my Apartment in 1975. It is amazing what we did and far the industry has gone.

I wrote a software package called “The Accountant” and sold it with later systems with tha same functionality as Quickbooks.”
